A UEFA qualified coach, Dave Wild joined Mossley AFC in April 2018 from Stockport Town.
Dave has previous coaching experience with Maine Road and Northwich Victoria before taking over as manager at North West Counties Leaguers Stockport Town in January 2017.
John was formerly a player with Stockport County, Hyde United, Stalybridge Celtic and Droylsden before stepping into management with the now defunct Woodley Sports where he had ended his playing career.
His record as Mossley manager was impressive winning 13 of his 24 games in charge, drawing 5 with only 6 defeats.

Liam Hudson joined Mossley in April 2018 from Stockport Town.
Godwin (age 24) came through Rochdale’s youth system and made two Football League appearances in 2012 before signing for Championship side Huddersfield Town in September 2012 on a three month youth loan.
He then joined Hyde in an extended loan deal and further loan periods followed with Southport, Stalybridge Celtic and Workington before his release from Rochdale in May 2014.
He then played for Northwich Victoria in the 2014/15 season before joining Ashton United in July 2015. He originally signed for Mossley in October 2015 and made 27 appearances scoring 1 goal before returning to Northwich Victoria.
Godwin then had spells with Ashton United and Shaw Lane FC and re-signed for Mossley in ther closed season of 2018.
James Baillie (age 23) began his career with Crewe Alexandra and signed a professional contract with the club in May 2014.
He made his Football League debut on 9 August 2014 in a 2–1 defeat away at Fleetwood Town and went to make 16 first team appearances.
In March 2016 he joined Nantwich Town on loan and following his release by Crewe at the end of the 2015/16 season he signed for Curzon Ashton.
He made 51 appearances for Curzon but missed the whole of the 2018/19 season through injury.
Ryan (age 28) was signed from Curzon Ashton in the closed season of 2019.
He began his playing career with Oldham Athletic and on 2nd May 2009 was handed his league debut against Walsall in Oldham’s final game of the 2008–09 season. After being named as a substitute, he came on and scored the winning goal with his first touch of the ball.
In the 2011/12 season he had loan spells with Barrow and AFC Telford United . He went on to make a total of 29 appearances for the Latics scoring 2 goals before his release by Oldham at the end of the season, along with eight other players.
He joined Altrincham in May 2012 scoring 6 goals in 22 appearances for the Robins in the 2012/13 season.
Ryan joined Curzon for the first time in 2013 and helped the club to the Evo-Stik First Division North title in his first season, before playing an integral part in the promotion campaign to the Nationl League North.
In August 2016, after 121 appearances and 41 goals, Ryan departed the Tamesdie Stadium for Nantwich Town and scored on his debut for the club the following day.
He returned to Curzon for a second spell in November 2017 and made 37 appearances, mostly in midfield, but still managed 9 goals last season, including the opener against Mossley in the Manchester FA Premier Cup Final.
Dieter (age 21) is a mobile and tough tackling left back signed in October 2017 from Manchester League side Stockport Georgians and he quickly establishing himself in the Mossley side in an impressive first season with the club.
Dieter was previously with Accrington Stanley as a junior.
Declan (age 21) is a tall and skilful central defender signed in December 2017 from Chorley.
Originally signed on dual registration with the Magpies Declan has now fully commited to Mossley.
He began his playing career as a youth player with Rochdale.
Dylan (17) is a young forward signed after some impressive performances for the under 21 Development team. He scored the winning goal against Prescot Cables on his first team debut in March 2019.
Dylan (23) is a quality goalkeeper signed the closed season of 2019 from Runcorn Linnets.
After beginning his career as a junior with Aston Villa he then had spells with Chester, FC United of Manchester, Hyde United and Northwich Victoria.
Gary (32) was re-signed in Febuary 2016 from Buxton after six years away from Mossley.
He began his career as a junior with Stockport County before joining Woodley Sports.
Gary signed for Mossley originally in August 2012 and went on to play an important role for the Lilywhites, making 48 appearances and scoring 6 goals, as the side reached the promotion play offs and won the Manchester Premier Cup beating Salford City in the final at Stockport County’s Edgeley Park.
Having won the Mossleyweb Player of the Year award that season he then followed manager Steve Halford to Ashton United in August 2013, making over 100 appearances for the Hurst Cross club before again following Halford onto Stalybridge Celtic, Glossop North End and most recently Buxton.
Ben (30) was signed in the closed season of 2018 from Stockport Town where he scored 31 goals last season.
A tall and strong centre forward Ben was previously with Colne, Glossop North End, Congleton Town and Runcorn Linnets.
Lewis (age 25) was signed in August 2019 after a spell out of the game.
He was previously with Liverpool as a youth player before playing for Accrington Stanley and Stalybridge Celtic.
Andy (age 30) is a strong and skilful attacking midfielder or forward who was re-signed for a third time in February 2018 having returned from a twelve month spell with Trafford.
Andy began his playing career as a youth teamer at Altrincham and then played for Manchester League side Wythenshawe Town and then Flixton before joining Winsford United in 2012 and Mossley in August 2013.
He departed for Nantwich Town in December 2013 after scoring 9 goals in 29 Mossley appearances but returned to Mossley in August 2014 and made a further 95 appearances for the Lilywhites scoring another 17 goals before transferring to Trafford in February 2017.
Andy was re-appointed as team captain for the 2018/19 season.
Simon (25) is a tall and elegant defensive midfielder signed in the closed season 2019. He began his career as a junior with Leeds United before having spells with Harrogate Town, Frickley Athletic, Rotherham United, Altrincham, Guiseley and most recently FC Halifax Town.
Paul Marshall (age 31) was signed in the closed season of 2019. He is a product of the Manchester City Youth Academy and signed his first professional contract in 2007. In the 2008/09 season, he was given the squad number 46 and became a regular in the reserves.
He then had loan spells with Blackpool, Port Vale and Aberdeen. He then had spells with Walsall, Rochdale, Droylsden and a return to Port Vale in January 2012. He signed for FC Halifax Town in 2012 before moving up a division when he joined Stockport County in 2013. He then returned to the Halifax Town on the back of their promotion to the Conference National and made 39 appearances in the 2013/14 campaign. He signed for Bradford Park Avenue in 2015 and Alfreton Town in October 2016.
He joined Curzon Ashton in May 2017 and made 24 appearances across the 2017/18 campaign but was limited to just 10 appearances in the 2018/19 season due to injury and had a brief spell on loan at Glossop North End.
Although born in England, Marshall has represented Ireland at under 19’s. He was called up to the England under-20 team for the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt and won 3 caps.
Steve (age 29) was signed in August 2018 from Evo-stik League rivals Trafford where he had made over 200 appearances in two spells with the Shawe View side. He won both supporters and managers Player of the Year whilst with Trafford.
The experienced and talented central defender has also played for Maine Road and Ashton United.
Adam (age 25) signed for Mossley in the closed season of 2019 from Curzon Ashton.
He garnered attention for his goal scoring exploits during the 2010/11 FA Premier Academy League season. Morgan scored 18 goals in 16 games and was taken on Liverpool’s pre-season tour of the USA by then manager Brendan Rodgers in July 2012 and scored his first senior goal for Liverpool in a friendly against Toronto FC with an assist by Raheem Sterling.
He made his senior debut for the club in a Europa League qualifier against Hearts and also started the group game against Anzhi Makhachkala.
He made his Football League debut on loan at Rotherham United before joining Yeovil Town on loan.
Following his release by Liverpool he signed permanent deal with Yeovil in January 2014.
Morgan spent the first half of the 2015/16 season with Accrington Stanley and following a brief spell with Colwyn Bay signed for Curzon Ashton, famously scoring a hat-trick in a televised 2nd Round FA Cup tie against AFC Wimbledon.
Spells with FC Halifax Town and Sligo Rovers in the Republic of Ireland followed before he returned again to play for Curzon in September 2018.
Whilst with Liverpool Morgan represented England at both under-17 and at under-19 level.
Astley (age 31 is a wide attacking player signed in the closed season of 2019 from Colwyn Bay.
Quick and very skilful Astley was Colwyn Bay’s top scorer in the 2017/18 season before he joined National League Barrow at the start of the 2018/19 season but returned to Colwyn Bay after a brief spell.
His previous clubs also include Altrincham, Trafford, FC United of Manchester, Ashton United, Chorley, Glossop North End and Hyde United, having begun his career in Leeds United’s academy as a teenager.
Josh (age 28) is an experienced tall and athletic goalkeeper who was most recently with Ashton United.
He began his career with Oldham Athletic before successful spells with Curzon Ashton, Colwyn Bay, Fleetwood Town, Stalybridge Celtic and Hyde United.
Whilst still a teenager at Oldham, Josh had a loan spell at Mossley making 4 appearances back in the 2010/11 season.
Nicky (age 31) was signed from Hyde United in the closed season of 2019.
A vastly experienced midefielder able to play either a holding or advanced role in the middle of the park.
He began his playing days as a striker with Liverpool and Burnley before starring in midfield for FC United of Manchester.
He has also played for Mandurah City (Australia), Witton Albion, Stockport County, Salford City, Nantwich Town and Ashton United.
Ben (29) was signed in the closed season of 2018 from Glossop North End for his fourth spell with Mossley.
Ben was originally signed from Stalybridge Celtic in January 2009.and won the Mossleyweb Player of the Year that same season.
He was then re-signed by Gareth McClelland in November 2011 after a spell with Woodley Sports.
Ben then had spells with Curzon Ashton and Ashton United before re-signing for a third time in January 2013 and has since had two spells with Glossop with a brief time at Ramsbottom United sandwiched between.
Craig (age 26) was signed in the closed season of 2019. He began his career as a junior with Wigan Athletic before joining the Liverpool Academy.
Following his release from Liverpool he joined Accrington Stanley on a short term deal. A spell with Witton Albion followed before he joined Sligo Rovers in the League of Ireland Premier Divison where he went on to make over 50 appearances in two seasons with the club.
Chiekh (age 17) is a very quick and skilful wing back signed in the closed season of 2019 after impressing in pre season.
He was previously a junior with Shrewsbury Town before playing senior football for Manchester Central FC.
Jes (age 17) is an exciting young forward signed from Stockport Town in the closed season of 2018.
